Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control Components – Moticont has released their OEM-00125U-01 Linear Optical Encoder Module and LS-00125U-01 Linear Scale. The compact linear encoder module measures just 51.5 mm (2.027 in.) long by 5.99 mm (0.236 in.) wide by 0.8 mm (0.073 in.) high. This high, 1.25 micron resolution, low power encoder module features TTL Quadrature Outputs and requires only a single +3.3 or +5 VDC supply.
The LS-00125U-01 Linear Scale supplied is only 6 mm (0.24 in.) wide by 0.3 (0.01 in.) high and would be attached to a flat surface using PSA adhesive. The standard scale length is 76.2 mm (3.00 in.) long. The linear scale is available with lengths up to 610.0 mm (24.00 in.). The quadrature signals are output differentially. The module also features a TTL level HOME output.

To Complement LM76’s broad range of Linear Bearings that are FDA/UDSA/3A Dairy compliant, as well as linear bearings for extreme environments; they have added Deep Groove bearings which accommodate radial and axial loads, Angular Contact bearings for simultaneously handling radial and axial loads, Spherical Bearings which are self aligning, and Thrust Bearings for high axial loads. The AT20-600-01 (pictured) is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor features a repeatability of 5 microns, positional accuracy of 20 microns and has a knob on the motor for manual adjustment. The AT20-600-02 is driven by a Brushless DC Servo Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder and the AT20-600-03 is driven by a DC Servo Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder. Each of the Servo Motor options, the -02 and -03 versions, offer higher travel speeds, increased positional accuracy, and repeatability.
