Van Nuys, CA – — Motion Control – Four high resolution, high Load, high stability three axis gimbal mounts have been released by OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.). These four new AU270-YPR Three Axis (Yaw, Angular Pitch, and Roll) Gimbal Mounts were developed to be used with larger and heavier: Cameras, telescopes, directional antennas, optics, lasers, tracking and scanning systems. These new, larger, high stability, gimbal mounts are 400 mm wide x 480 mm high, weigh 50 kg and handle loads up to 10 kg and the Roll Axis features a large 90 mm thru hole for cables and optics.

Motion Control – Van Nuys, CA – A powerful series of compact, low cost electromagnets has been released by Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS). Their E-22-150 Series of Tubular Electromagnets 1.5 in. in diameter x 2.15 in. feature 19 different windings to select from based on the duty cycle and holding force requirements of the application. E-22-150 Electromagnets are immediately available off-the-shelf in sample quantities and OEM quantities for Just-In-Time deliveries.
Depending on the application, duty cycle, and required force, the electromagnets in this series can supply 54 to 83 lbs. of holding force for duty cycles ranging from 100% (continuously on) to 10%. This series of electromagnets is ideal for use for: Door controls (hold open, hold close), relays, lifting gantries, material handling, magnetic locks and switches, security systems, failsafe brakes, magnetic separation, research equipment, valves, and office equipment.

The new, compact 25.4 mm (1.000 in.) stroke SDLM-025-095-01-01M and SDLM-025-095-01-01 Linear DC Servo Actuators feature high repeatability, high acceleration/deceleration, and zero cogging! These high force-to-size Electric Cylinders have linear encoders mounted internally for closed loop servo operation. Additionally, to operate at peak efficiency, integral temperature sensors provide data to achieve the highest possible throughputs.
The clean fully enclosed SDLM-025-095-01-01M and SDLM-025-095-01-01 Servo Actuators are 25.4 mm (1.000 in.) in diameter, the housing is 95.3 mm (3.750 in.) long and the total length of the housings and shafts are 139.7 mm (5.500 in.).

Motion Control Technology – Van Nuys, CA – Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS) has released their S-20-100X model of Pull Type Tubular Solenoids. Their S-20-100X series of solenoids features 18 different solenoids to select from based on the Voltage, Duty Cycle, Force and Stroke requirement of the user.
MSS Solenoids coils typically utilize Class “F” 23 to 40 AWG (American Wire Gauge) windings with Class “A” insulation for better protection of the solenoid during longer duty cycles.

This linear voice coil servo actuator, also called a moving coil motor, features: Zero cogging, high speed, high acceleration/deceleration, and high precision accuracy and repeatability when operated in a closed servo loop.
The precision ground 0.1572 +/- 0.0003 in. (3.993 +/- 0.008 mm) diameter shaft guided by a linear bearing in the extended position is 2.500 in. (63.5 mm) long. It can tolerate a side load to 2 lbs. (9.0 N), and has 1.500 inches (38.1 mm) of travel with a high-force-to-size ratio of 24.4 lbs. (108.6 N) of continuous force and 77.1 lbs. (343 N) of peak force at a 10% duty cycle. The shaft has a 4-40 UNC 2B x 0.38 deep thread for backlash free connection to a load.
